As part of Willis Tower Watson’s high commitment to client security, certain data-contain devices must undergo data erasure on-site to meet audit requirements.
G1 Asset Management was engaged to perform data destruction services at various WTW locations thoroughly Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
Upon arriving on site, G1 staff first extracted the drives from assets to be erased. Using a Garner portable degausser (for mechanical drives) and an NSA-approved crusher (for solid-state drives and media).
Serial numbers of all drives are recorded using G1 Asset Management’s in-house asset management tracking system (Advantage ERP), and data destruction certificates are issued upon the completion of each data destruction job.
